After working at a large marketing agency for years, we’d had enough of helping big businesses get bigger, and we were definitely getting tired of not being empowered to express our complete creativity, or think outside of the box. We knew we could use what we’d learned to make a powerful impact on independently-owned brands and help them improve their organic online marketing strategies.
We’ve been a Duo for over a decade, dating all the way back to the big agency days, before we ventured off on our own to help small business owners (like you!) grow their brands.
So, we traded our agency days for the freelance life.
And we don’t regret it for a single second. We wouldn’t trade what we’ve built at Duo for the world, because there’s nothing better than helping small business owners get real results, and bring in more leads by being authentically themselves.

Every successful brand is backed by strategy and a clear understanding of the exact target audience. Back in agency life, “shopper marketing” was our specialty. We spent the better part of a decade working with household names and million-dollar budgets, researching, developing, and marketing to each brand’s ‘specific shopper.’ After making the switch from big agency to small business, we’ve adapted and perfected that same ‘shopper marketing’ method to work for our clients, and we carry it through all of our search and brand development services.
OUR GOALS ARE BIG, BUT OUR TEAM IS SMALL. AND THAT’S THE WAY WE LIKE IT.
We left our big-time agency gigs because we were tired of the lifestyle. We were constantly burning out, never felt in control of our own creativity, and craved more opportunities for growth. We have no desire to become like every other agency, and while we do have back-end support—we love working as a Duo.
Okay, maybe “they” don’t say exactly that, but you get what we mean. As one part strategy and one part creativity, with 20+ years of combined marketing experience, we’re able to cover all the biz-growth bases, all under one roof. In other words...double the brain power, double the fun!

I’m a woman of many hats, but the creative one is my favorite. While my pipe dreams of working in the Fine Arts and drawing for Disney were cool and all, I’d much rather be designing brands for small business owners to help them better connect with their ideal clients and customers.
